Which Side of The Bag Should I Use As Inside?

You can use both sides. Most of our customers prefer to can use the stitched sewing side as inside. However you can also use the stitched sewing side as outside. There is no right or wrong way to use it. You are always right. Of course, you can switch sides whenever you feel like it just for fun.

Why Should I Soak The Nuts and Seeds?

Because you will have the most nutritious and super beneficial milk.  Nuts and seeds are filled with nutrition, but their life-giving nutrients are dormant, held back by enzyme inhibitors.  All it takes to awaken them and release their many enzymes- along with Proteins, minerals, vitamins and amino acids – is to soak them.  

How Long Should I Soak The Nuts and Seeds?

It varies.
» Almonds: 8-12 hours
» Brazil Nuts, Cashews, Hazelnuts, Pecans, Walnuts: 2-4 hours
» Macadamias, Pine Nuts, Pistachios: Not necessary Sesame, Pumpkin: 8 hours

Don’t keep the soak water. Make sure rinse and drain the nuts and seeds before put them into the blender.

How to Make Basic Nut or Seed Milk?

Ingredients:
1.)  1 cup nuts or seeds, soaked (see above), rinsed
2.)  3 to 5 cups water depends on whether you want a thicker or thinner milk
3.)  1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract or 1/4 teaspoon alcohol-free almond extract (optional)
4.)  1-2 tablespoon raw honey or agave nectar, or 1-3 Medjool dates, pitted (optional)

How to make your almond milk:

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the nuts or seeds with water and dates if using, blend about 30 seconds
  2. Pour the mixture into the bag and gently squeeze the milk out
  3. Add the vanilla and honey if using
  4. Enjoy your delicious homemade milk. If you prefer, chill it before you drink. Yummy!

How Do I Clean The Nut Milk Bag, Especially With Stains?

Clean is extremely easy with this Awesome Nut Milk Bag:
  1. Empty the leftover pulp into a freezer bag or container for another use (See Recipes in Free E-Book – Healthy Quick Easy Recipes)
  2. Rinse the bag under running warm water. You can apply a small drop of dish soap once a week.
  3. For stains, you can spread Hydrogen Peroxide; For stubborn stains, you can soak the bag in either Hydrogen Peroxide or grapefruit seed extract and water.
Utilize the DrawString to easily hang to air dry on a hook or knob in your kitchen.

Should I Squeeze The Bag From Top Down or Bottom Up?

From our own experience and customers feedbacks, it is better for you to start in the middle, then squeeze the top, next squeeze the bottom. Repeat this procedure until you do not see much liquid come out. You can then gently pull the top and push the pulp towards the bottom.

What Else Can I Use the Nut Milk Bag For?

Sprouting – Soak most seeds for 8 hours in a jar or container with purified water, pour the soaked seeds into the wet, prewashed bag. Pull the DrawString closed. Rinse with fresh water and hang it on a hook or knob or lay it in the dish rack. Rinse twice a day by bathing them in a bowl, pot or tub of water for a minute. Days to grow depends on the seeds from 2 to 12 days.

Juicing – Blend vegetables, greens and/or fruits with a little bit of water or a couple of ice cubes and strain the mixture through the bag. Do I Need Use Double Bag to Make Smooth Milk or Juice?
